Adam has been a TAILORED ATHLETE customer for just over a year now - a keen sportsman, he naturally has a fairly large upper torso and struggled to find a high street retailer that catered for this.
Not only that, he was keen to have a brand that could provide both smart & casual garments as he is the Director of Penrose Estate Agency - therefore formal shirts make up the foundation of his day to day attire. After seeing an advert for our shirts, Adam was immediately sold and after his first experience, made TAILORED ATHLETE his go-to brand.
The running of a very successful company from the age of 25 is no easy feat, but Adam seems to have taken it in his stride and attributes it largely to his work ethic and passion to help his clients. He tells us no two days are the same: whether he’s between viewings, meetings or rallying his sales team, Adam ensures the gym is a very strict part of his routine. He refers to training as his “petrol”, training at least 5 times a week.
For Adam, being fit and healthy allows for a positive mindset and sets him up for a productive day. Very much a morning person, his daily routine starts around 5:30 am with a good breakfast, followed by a training session at his local gym prior to an 8:30 am start in the office. His belief in this is so strong, he even paid for his team to participate in PT sessions with him in order to introduce them to conditioning. This, in turn, had a positive impact on not only team morale but business results as well. He’s even roped some of them into participating in Tough Mudder this year!

Outside of work, Rugby is a fantastic outlet for Adam, having played since he was a teenager; it’s a great way for him to channel his competitiveness on the weekends.
Adam is also a keen traveler. Whilst his work ethic is at the very heart of his day to day, he is still very keen to keep a balance and enjoy life to the fullest. Having recently visited Las Vegas, his upcoming trips include destinations such as Thailand, Canada, and America. His favorite holiday destination? Ibiza, and it comes with a strong recommendation as "it provides a bit of everything- great party atmosphere with amazing venues and music, as well as a sunset that is to die for, coupled with great people and beaches. Plus its only a short flight away!"
As any athlete will testify: confidence is key to performance and the importance of not only looking professional but feeling comfortable was a large part of TAILORED ATHLETE’s initial appeal. Penrose Estate Agency has been running for just over 4 years now and with a team of 20 staff, several national awards and a second office on the horizon, Adam has no signs of letting up any time soon.
