Since our inception, TAILORED ATHLETE has attracted thousands of Athletes from all walks of life with one continuing passion: a love for physical development and a positive mindset. Our journey is your journey, and we want to share the stories of our Athletes amongst our community for the following reasons...
Last month we heard from Chris Parnham, Managing Director of Absolute Corporate Events (ACE), This month's Athlete is someone who you may have heard of before - Tom Brazier, Entrepreneur and WBFF Coach of the Year 2016.
For those of you familiar with WBFF, there’s a strong possibility that over the last 15 years you would have seen someone on stage who Tom has coached. Yet, for a man who has helped create 4 x World Champions, what first attracted him to conditioning and training?
“I was always quite sporty growing up; I'd say rugby was my first love and I played right up until Uni where I completed my BSc in Sports Science and Nutrition from the University of Worcester”
With his family’s background rooted in construction, office interiors and property, Tom was still unsure what career he wanted to have, although, from a few short days in the family business, he knew he “wasn’t built for an office job”. Fortunately, a close friend of his was a personal trainer at the time, so Tom also decided he’d give it a go and moved to London in pursuit of a new challenge.

Fortunately, a close friend of his was a personal trainer at the time, so Tom also decided he’d give it a go and moved to London in pursuit of a new challenge.
From then on, everything seemed to snowball and he became very busy, very quickly, with Tom often working 50/60 hour weeks which continued for 4 years. Soon, Tom hit the turning point quite common amongst personal trainers, where he felt his earning potential had peaked and he was already at capacity, both in terms of fees and time. Not content with settling, he made the decision to start looking at alternative ways of generating income and found himself pursuing online training, at a time when not very many people were doing it. Seeing an opportunity for growth, he started working with a few competitor friends of his; overlooking their nutrition and supplementation, whilst gaining valuable experience and beginning to make a name for himself.

Tom’s wife at the time, Andreia Brazier, decided to make the move into competitive fitness modelling so he worked with her, coaching her through 2 first place wins all the way to winning her 1st WBFF World Championship in August 2012. This further stapled his position within the fitness industry and with another 4 of his Athletes winning their Pro Cards in April 2013 at the WBFF Danish Competition as well as turning Pro himself at the WBFF Orlando Show in May 2013. From this, TeamTBC (Tom’s competitive fitness team) was born.
8 years on, with over 100 Pro Athletes and a further 3 World Championship titles, TeamTBC is now recognised as one of the top competitive fitness teams in the industry.

Tom is renowned for his transformations, with clients that include: world champions, celebrities and royalty. He attributes this to his bespoke services and states that attention to detail is what really sets him apart.
Through Tom’s expert guidance, Team TBC now has 3 tangents: firstly as a competitive prep coaching service, secondly as a bespoke transformation/lifestyle trainer, and a training concierge service for high net worth clients/families. Having built a core team of some of the best and renowned experts in their fields (clinical nutritionists, Food Intolerance testing, Hormonal profiling, Sports Recovery and Mindset/body confidence coaching) around him, Tom is able to cover all points of fitness, nutrition, wellness, lifestyle and recovery.

As if that wasn’t enough, Tom also took a firm interest in the family business and now has involvement in commercial real estate and short terms residential buy-to-lets, as well as partnering with an events company that hosts 5* dinners with sporting stars across the UK.
For a man who is constantly on the go as part of his career, it’s clear to see TAILORED ATHLETE’s appeal.
“To me, TAILORED ATHLETE breaths an element of style, trend and a level of sophistication that I have not found in any other fitness/style brand. Their products cater for almost every aspect of my life, from meeting a high-level CEO of a Hotel chain to discuss hosting events at their venues to a night out in South Beach, Miami where summer style is a must. It is also the first brand where I have been able to buy shirts effectively off the peg with a tailored and clean look, even dress shirts with a perfect collar to fit ratio.”

It has been a pleasure to share Tom’s story, and we hope his journey fills you with as much inspiration to seize every opportunity as it has done for us.
He leaves us with one final piece of advice: “Love what you do - go down different paths until you find it, trust the process, but progress with something you enjoy”.
