What are your hobbies and passions?
My favourite hobby is looking after my one-year-old Ammar, who seems to have endless energy. I quit my day job in corporate communications eight years ago to pursue becoming a magician. I’m a radio DJ and CrossFit coach. Outside of the gym, I work on magic illusions and tricks for my shows. I debuted a solo performance a few weeks ago here in Brunei.
I also love creating sponsored content for my Instagram page. I’m a geek, so I made a great Back to the Future inspired post - check it out!
Why do you shop TAILORED ATHLETE?
I needed jeans that would fit my thighs without having to size up. A client of mine also ordered TA Jeans, so we’re both happy TA owners.
What’s your favorite product?
The Premium Stretch Jeans. I'm a massive fan of the fit and feel. They’re stretchy, and they fit my waist nicely because of the cut. My thighs don't pull them lower.
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced recently?
I am juggling everything! Besides being a husband and a new dad, I'm also working on a nutrition coaching course. Balancing that with keeping on track with training, trying to find new projects and clients for social media, and more is challenging.
What are you reading or listening to at the moment?
I'm often in the car travelling between workplaces. So I listen to a lot of audiobooks and podcasts. The book I'm currently listening to is “The Comfort Crisis” by Michael Easter. My favorite podcasts to listen to are “Armchair Expert”, “Joe Rogan Podcast”, and some other magician specific ones like the “Penguin Magic Podcast” and “The Magician's Podcast”, to name a few.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Once you know who you are, what you want to be, and what your goals and priorities are, decisions become more straightforward. Everything starts falling into place.
What advice would you give to future or existing TAILORED ATHLETE customers?
Go with your gut and get yourself Jeans that fit. Just pull the trigger and pick up a pair.
